Tests were conducted at the ENEA nuclear research center in Frascati, Italy, over the course of two weeks to gather gamma ray signatures from pigments similar to those used by Leonardo da Vinci in his mural {quote}The Battle of Anghiari.{quote} Armed with these test results, in theory the wall could be evaluated with non-invasive neutron technology to try to detect the painting.
